Ok bloggers. It's time I did the right thing and asked for help...
I want to try out a new template for my blog. When I put the code in and click on "preview template" I'm seeing some of the stuff from my blog missing, such as links to websites and stuff. If I change to a new template do I have to add all that stuff again?

I haven't heard of anyone completely changing their template without losing the stuff on the sidebars. i have heard of people saving the sidebar stuff on a word document and then readding it later.. if you find out how to change without losing let me know:)
Yeah, that happened to me the one time that I tried it... Not sure how to fix it.. I cannot believe all that has happened in six years either.. Graduated PT school, graduated law school, had 4 kids, I live in LAS VEGAS of all places.. and I still cannot believe that I married Colin. Man, freshman year- who would have thought? I still haven't met Tyler..
That is so weird! Unless you are trying to use a pre-made template from pyzam, for example, it should keep all of your links. Are you trying something other than blogger templates? Sorry, it seems I am useless!
there is a link on my blog for the cutest blog on the block - I got my templte from there and they walk you through it. It also allows you to keep all your links. Hope that helps!
