4 Years!!!

For the last two years, Ava has picked her birthday party theme based on her most recent Hallowen costume. This year, she requested a Snow White birthday party. When it comes to princesses, Snow White isn't as hot these days as her blonde counterparts, so we had to improvise the decorations. My mom made a dwarf mine cake, the goodie bags were filled with jewel-like candy, we decorated magic mirrors, and made poison apples.

Since Ty and I had to give talks that same morning in church, my mom was gracious enough to host the party at her house. The weather was beautiful, just like the day she was born. Combined with the extra hour from day-light savings time we were able to spend the whole evening outside.

Happy Birthday Ava! We are so sorry we missed such a special day for such a special little girl. I cannot believe she is 4 already-I remember coming to stay with you when she was born!

These are the things that I am so sad that I miss in my little Ava's life. I'm so greatful that her other grandmother will make her such a cute cake as that dwarf cave cake. So Cute!! Happy Birthday to my precious little sweetheart.
