Lilly's been going through an interesting phase. First of all, she's completely accident prone. In line for Space Mountain, she was so excited she starting spinning around and spun herself right into the handrail. The swollen eye (pictured above) turned into a big black eye. A few days later, after a long light saber battle, Ava kicked her off our bed and she hit her mouth and nose on the bed rail on the way down, resulting in a fat lip and a bloody mouth and nose. The next day she fell down the stairs trying to pick up her sock, resulting in a bruise on her forehead. At this point, I'm surprised her preschool hasn't called CPS on us.
She's also been saying some super funny things lately. The newly acquired light saber makes for some interesting make-believe games. She always wants to play the part of the bad guy and I've overheard her telling Ava, "I'm going to kill your mother!" She also wielded her light saber my way telling me, "I'm going to get you and squeeze all your milk out!" ummmmmm....
She's also still really obsessed with the mysteries of childbirth. She likes to make believe that she's the doctor cutting the babies out of my tummy and placing them in my arms. No I did not have a c-section, nor did I have 7 babies, but for some reason that's the way the game works.
In addition to her more interesting sayings, she's been saying some cute things too. She likes to say that her heart is "beeping" really fast. She still says "dit" instead of get. She still calls Naomi "My-omi" most of the time. She's also known to proclaim how lucky she is to have been blessed with a little sister, shouting "Yeah! I love Jesus for sending me a baby sister!" She's also known to ask if we are keeping Myomi "for all the day", which is her way of saying forever. Cute.
One last thing - she just learned how to rider her two-wheeler. She saw Ava learning and decided she wanted to give it a go. Tyler took off her training wheels and off she went. She keeps asking me, "Can you not believe that I can ride my two-wheeler?"
