Brain Leeches

I think my kids are brain leeches. I used to have a decent vocabulary. I could also remember names of people, streets, locations. Now I try to speak and the words have disappeared - gone. It's especially worse on days like today when they are clinging, whining, and fighting relentlessly. I wonder if the words are erased forever, or if they'll reemerge when my kids grow up and develop more complex vocabulary themselves.
