Ava has been saying some funny things lately. Last night, I was carrying dinner to Tyler in the office while he was on a conference call and she said, "It's like you're Daddy's servant." Servant? That doesn't sit well with my inner feminist, but I don't think that's what she meant.
Today she got to pick out a free book at the library for completing her summer reading goal. There were so many great options, but she picked a Star Wars Clone Wars choose your own adventure-type book. She was so excited. On the drive home she told me all about Anakin (sp?) and how he turned to the dark side. Then she solemnly announced, "If I were Anakin, I wouldn't strangle my wife."

That is hilarious! I especially love her thoughtful pronouncement about strangling. She's so precocious I just love it!
