Rainy days brought out the snails in full force. After getting in trouble for smashing them all over our front and back porches, the girls decided that they make great pets. They plucked them from the walls and plants and piled them in heaps. I even found Lilly rocking one and singing "Rock-a-bye Baby."
One word......ewwwwwwww!

I don't know what it is, but my kids are huge fans of these slimy creatures as well. I didn't feel like the greatest mom when I caught Capri with a snail in her mouth. Nasty!

Yup, gross. Cute pictures though (of the girls, that is).
I remember those snails climbing all over our back patio after it had rained. Roxie was fascinated by them, I was disgusted by them.
