Ava's been begging to see the elephant seals, and I missed my opportunity to get a reservation for a tour at Ano Nuevo this weekend. I tried to make it up to her by taking her to Pier 39 to see the sea lions. It was a beautiful day in the city. We hoped to stay long enough to see the Chinese New Year Parade. Instead we had one dissappointed little girl who fussed and whined the whole time that what she really wanted to see was the elephant seals. She was slightly amused by the bush man, but when she started crying that there weren't enough "silver guys" we knew it was time to pack it in and go home.

We are bummed we won't be seeing you in Utah, but hopefully we will catch you sometime soon!
