The opening ceremonies for the Beijing Olympics were absolutely stunning. I doubt any other country on earth could pull something off like that. I wish I were there.

i wish i were there too...beijing is one of the most amazing places i've ever been too, i can't imagine it all dolled up for the olympics! if we can't be in beijing, at least we got to have chocolate chip pancakes together at the base of the canyon, what can get better than that??? miss you already!
