Mother's Day

Even more than the super awesome gift certificate to the spa, Tyler's best Mother's Day gift to me was to wear his bike helmet. Let's just say that he tested it out, and it worked so well that he was still able to bandage himself up, cook me waffles, and serve them to me in bed.

I love you Ty!

It was extra special to get a card from Ava that says "I (letters that are supposed to say love you) mom." Signed "Ava." She also made me a candy lei in primary and sang to me in Sacrament meeting. How grown up is that?


Lilly made a card for me and gave me kisses all day. Here is a picture of her playing mommy to her baby, Cruella (yes, that's what she named her!) She loves Cruella and drags her all around the place. She feeds her, puts her down for naps, and occasionally nurses her. Don't ask me where she gets that from. She doesn't have anyone in her life that she sees nursing a baby, but somehow she just knows. The first time I asked her what she was doing she said, "Baby's hungry. Baby sipping bib." .......um, ok.
